Happy Halloween

We started off our Halloween weekend with a family party and my cousin Kenda's. It was pretty chili so we didn't stay long but I had to show off my precious ladybug.
Here she is opening her eyes wide to the camera.

Here is Memphis the Monkey.

On Halloween night we didn't do much. Our first stop was to Kristi and Curtis Garrett's.(Please excuse the red eye. I can't get it out.)

Then we went to Nanaw's and Nanny and PawPaw's house. She wasn't having much of being dressed up in her car seat. So we called it an early night and went home. Here are my attemps of her in her costume at home. I LOVE HER BIG EYES!!!!

Here are some other pre halloween pictures of Lexi as well. Enjoy until next time.

Don't you just love her tongue. It is her favorite toy.

Who do you think she looks the most like Josh or me?

Mommy's Big Girl

This is Lexi the day we left the hospital!! It seems just like yesterday.

Lexi has changed SO much over the last few weeks.
She rolls over and scoots on her head. She laughs out load when you play pick a boo with her. She will jabber on and on when she's in a good mood. She is officially in a GREAT routine. She goes to bed around 8 every night and I wake her in the mornings around 6:30. She is a VERY easy baby. I thank God everyday for the miracle he gave Josh and I. I couldn't ask for more.

Last week Lexi got another baby cousin. His name is Brody Kace Dyess. He was 8lbs 12oz and 21 in. I bet he catches Lexi by Christmas.( Picture on the next post.) His hands are already the size of Lexi's!! He likes to eat and is growing like a weed. I can't wait for them to grow up together, being so close in age. Lexi will have to learn to be tough because she is surrounded by 4 boy cousins. She will be the little Princess that gets away with everything and blames it on the boys.

We have pictures with Tara Swain next week. Can't wait for those. Hope to post more pictures soon.

3 Months Old

Wow, how time flies. Lexi is 3 months old already!!

She is getting so big. She smiles at you when you talk to her. She laughs out loud when you tickle her. She does pretty good about tummy time. But she LOVESSSS her Baby Einsteins. She watches them just about everyday while I am getting things done. Maybe it will help to make her smart. She likes her Bumbo chair for little bits at a time.
Her most recent obsession is her hands and anything she can put in her mouth.
She will chew on anything she can grab.
I love how she is starting to get her own personality. She has a VERY short temper like her dad. She will let you know very quick if she isn't happy or if she is hungry. She is happy almost all the time. She always wakes up in a good mood and makes my day brighter.

Well I will quite typing and let you get to pictures.

                                                                       Happy Baby Girl.

She loves to eat her burp cloths.

Lexi's Birthday

Lexi's birthday was a LONG day. We had to be at the hospital at 5:00 am. I got hooked up to everything around 6 or 6:30. I got a shot of pain meds at around 10 and that was not fun at all. I felt like I was on one of those machines where it spins you all around. After that, I got my epidural around lunch time. The rest of the day I slept.

Lexi's delivery of fast and pain less. The whole thing was alot easier than I ever expected.

Well enough with the info. Here are pictures of her fresh and new.

She was born at 4:10 pm.
She weighed 7lb 11oz and was 20 inches long.

My first time to hold her.

Daddy's 1st time to hold his baby girl.
We had to make sure he was in a sturdy chair.

How Time Flies

Wow how time flies!!! I have been wanting to do the blog since Lexi was born. She is now 10 weeks today!! I can't believe she is getting so big so fast. Last night we put her in her Bumbo chair for the first time!! She sits in it fairly well. Her head gets tired pretty quick but she will catch on fast. She still isn't sleeping through the night but hopefully that will come soon. Well that's it for now. I hope to go back and post stuff from the hospital and the early days at home. But for now here are some recent pics of her.
