Halloween 2010

Halloween was alot more fun this year. Lexi really enjoyed collecting candy, but she DEMANDED to carry her own bucket no matter how heavy it got. We made several stops through out the weekend. Saturday night we went to Powderly to show her off. :)
This was our first stop on Halloween night. The sun was really bright so this was the best picture I could get of the Payden and Lexi.
Getting candy. She was a pro. :)
The attempt at a group picture. I love it because it so them. :)

Family picture at the LACOC trunk or treat. I am really glad Lexi has a place like this to go to for Halloween. Thanks to everyone who volunteers to help make this a success.
A few random pictures from before Halloween.

Lots more blogs to come. I am done with school for now, so I plan on catching back up.

Lake Trips

We have been to the lake alot this summer. I love going to the lake and spending time with family. The lake is a great spot to relax and do absolutely nothing. :)
These pictures are just random ones from our trips this summer.

Lexi and Memphis swimming.
Looking back at this picture makes me realize how thin Lexi has gotten the last few months. This was before she started walking.
I can't believe how much older she looks in this picture. :(
Our family tradition at the lake. Horseshoes!!
This bathing suit is for Memi and Molly.
Exhausted after a long day at the lake.
Until Next time. Enjoy.

Lexi's Birthday Party

It has been along time since I have blogged. I have so much to blog so I hope to catch up soon. I will start with Lexi's 1st Birthday party!! It is so hard to believe that a year can pass by so quickly. I can't explain how much my life has changed for the better since I had her. She is the best thing in my life and she makes me want to be a better person. I want so much for her and for us as a family.
Well we didn't have a huge party but my family is large so it gets big quickly. I did bright colors for her party. We did cupcakes and lemonade.
Here is a pic of Kristi decorating Lexi's cupcakes for me. I can't explain how much you did to help me with these. Thank you Kristi for everything you did to help. We love you and thank you.

This is a pic of the completed table. Thank you Nanny (Kathy) for allowing us to move Lexi's party inside to your house. We love you and thank you. :)

The birthday girl eating her cake.

The rest are just random pics of the rest of her party. Enjoy! :)

Lexi's very first race car.

Stay tuned for Cord's graduation, random pics from 10 to 12 months, ear piercing, tubes in ears and summer trips to the lake.
Love and best wishes, Jess

Lexi from 6 to 9 months!!

I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted. Lexi has changed SOOOOO much over the last 3 months, but mainly in the last few weeks. Within just a few weeks she army crawled, pulled up, regular crawled and now is SUPER close to walking on her own.

She has just in the last few days started walking/crawling like a monkey. She uses her hands and feet to crawl because regular crawling hurts her knees.

She has definitely come into her temper. She knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it.

She loves to cuddle and be rocked, but when it comes to sleeping you just lay her down and she will go to sleep on her own.. She is definitely a cuddle baby. Which I LOVE!!!! :)

She plays very well on her own. I am so lucky to still get to keep her with me everyday. I can't imagine having to leave her for so many hours a day.

She has learned to wave when you say hi or bye. Sometimes you can get her to say hi but that is rare.

Lexi loves to feed herself snacks. She is miss independent. She doesn't want you to do anything for her. (I can't imagine where she gets that from.)

Well enough with typing here are some random pictures of my Beautiful baby girl.

Pulling up like a big girl.

Pretty Girl on St. Patrick's Day!!
Lexi at 7 months old. Sitting up like a big girl. Gone are the days of her sitting in 1 spot and staying there.

Lexi's 1st Christmas

I can't believe how busy Lexi's 1st Christmas was!! It was so much fun to have a baby around for Christmas. We started our Christmas off early at Pops and Darla's house. It was so much fun to spend time with Poppy, Pops, Uncle Jay, Aunt Jerri and Memphis. Pops got Lexi and Memphis toys for Christmas. Hopefully they will help to make her VERY smart.

Then we spent Christmas Eve in Powderly with my family. It was very crowded but fun. Her are pictures from Christmas Eve in Powderly.

After spending Christmas Eve out and about we went home to enjoy our 1st Christmas Eve with Lexi. Here are her 1st pictures in front of our Christmas tree. We were still working on sitting up on our own.

This is what we saw Christmas morning when we woke up!! SNOW!!!

We spent Christmas morning at Nanny and PawPaw's house. It is so much fun watching Gibson and Payden on Christmas morning. Can't wait for Lexi to get excited about Santa!!

This is Lexi with her very 1st baby doll. Mimi bought this for her for Christmas!!

Well that does it for Christmas, I will leave you with Lexi's Christmas card picture. I can't get it to rotate!!!

Hope to post New Years Eve and Day pictures soon.

Happy Halloween

We started off our Halloween weekend with a family party and my cousin Kenda's. It was pretty chili so we didn't stay long but I had to show off my precious ladybug.
Here she is opening her eyes wide to the camera.

Here is Memphis the Monkey.

On Halloween night we didn't do much. Our first stop was to Kristi and Curtis Garrett's.(Please excuse the red eye. I can't get it out.)

Then we went to Nanaw's and Nanny and PawPaw's house. She wasn't having much of being dressed up in her car seat. So we called it an early night and went home. Here are my attemps of her in her costume at home. I LOVE HER BIG EYES!!!!

Here are some other pre halloween pictures of Lexi as well. Enjoy until next time.

Mommy's Precious Zebra

Don't you just love her tongue. It is her favorite toy.

Who do you think she looks the most like Josh or me?

Mommy's Big Girl

This is Lexi the day we left the hospital!! It seems just like yesterday.

Lexi has changed SO much over the last few weeks.
She rolls over and scoots on her head. She laughs out load when you play pick a boo with her. She will jabber on and on when she's in a good mood. She is officially in a GREAT routine. She goes to bed around 8 every night and I wake her in the mornings around 6:30. She is a VERY easy baby. I thank God everyday for the miracle he gave Josh and I. I couldn't ask for more.

Last week Lexi got another baby cousin. His name is Brody Kace Dyess. He was 8lbs 12oz and 21 in. I bet he catches Lexi by Christmas.( Picture on the next post.) His hands are already the size of Lexi's!! He likes to eat and is growing like a weed. I can't wait for them to grow up together, being so close in age. Lexi will have to learn to be tough because she is surrounded by 4 boy cousins. She will be the little Princess that gets away with everything and blames it on the boys.

We have pictures with Tara Swain next week. Can't wait for those. Hope to post more pictures soon.
